FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pleasanton, CA - February 22, 2007 - Fork Particle Incorporated, the leading tools and middleware developer of particle system effects software and SDK, will demonstrate the dynamic capacity of its latest releases, Fork Particle Dev SDK 2.5 and artwork content review software Fizznotes™, at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco from March 05 through March 09, 2007.

The Fork Particle Dev SDK 2.5 release incorporates a wide range of customer feedback, resulting in nifty tweaks and additions to the Particle Studio user interface and a new set of features, significantly increasing both, the range of possible special effects and the ease of manipulation. From previous versions, the product retains real time feedback as its dynamic core, offering artists precision and confidence in reproducing in the universe of the game the exact desired effects generated in the Studio. Aside from guaranteeing precision, the enhanced in-game live fine tuning capability, as aptly demonstrated by previous releases, cuts down significantly on game development time.

Artists will relish the ease and efficiency with which the middleware enables them to create high quality visual effects with path particles, super emitters, robust key-frame animation, point-list particle birth and forces. Scene objects and dynamic lighting support have proved particularly popular additions. Moreover, artists will enjoy limitless customization options with the Studio especially enabling them to add their own shaders to draw maximum advantage from the graphics hardware.

CEO Noor Khawaja, who held prominent development positions in leading game development companies for close to a decade before establishing Fork Particle Incorporated three years ago, expressed his enthusiasm and excitement about the enhanced capacity and potential of the new release. He invited artists to experience for themselves the comfort of the Studio environment, ease and precision of use, limitless possibilities and sheer magic of the high quality effects, whilst also challenging game developers to realistically assess cost and time-savings in product development the middleware would mean for them.

"Quality and streamlined work flow are key assets that really have to be experienced to be realized. Fork Particle is committed to demonstrating how great special effects can take the excitement in video games to previously unimagined levels. Our software empowers game developers to focus on production of high quality and creative content while saving time and money," commented Khawaja.

Art Matsuura, art director at Fork Particle, whose aesthetic sensibilities and expression have earned him widespread respect in the industry in a career spanning over 12+ years, similarly expressed excitement about the new image and screenshot annotation software Fork Particle will display at the Game Developers Conference. "Fizznotes puts visual communication at the user's finger tips," he explained, "the software enables the user to place information labels or text balloons on images and pictures as easily as using a notepad." He further explained that the software would be a boon for anyone who works with images, including artists, testers, designers, programmers, technical writers. "Writing content reviews have become a breeze. Once you use Fizznotes, you can never go back," asserted Art.
